What to Know Before Your Visit
Do you accept my insurance?
RE Physical Therapy and Wellness is currently a participating provider with Medicare, Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna. A detailed receipt can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for out‑of‑network reimbursement, and a cash‑pay option is available for those choosing to self‑pay.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions take place in the comfort of your home, offering a convenient and personalized setting for your care.
Do I need to own any equipment?
Nope- all the therapy tools and equipment needed for your session (ex. therapy table, weights,...) are brought directly to you.
What happens during my first visit?
Most patients will have already completed their online intake forms, so the first session begins with a focused conversation and a thorough, hands-on evaluation to understand your history, symptoms, and goals. This assessment helps identify the underlying factors contributing to your condition and guides the development of a personalized treatment plan. You’re welcome to ask questions at any point or bring a family member/friend to help you feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.
How long will each session last?
Each 1:1 session with the physical therapist lasts between 45-55 minutes.
What should I wear to my first visit?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and ideally the footwear you use for daily activities.
